Alfred Coffee is on the search for a friendly, detail oriented, proactive, hard working Maintenance Worker/Technician to provide comprehensive maintenance service in all aspects of an Alfred cafe.

As the Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for the following (including but not limited to):
Installing/repairing restaurant equipment
Electrical work including light fixture repair, outlets, switches, plug replacement, etc.
Maintenance with doors, windows, seating, floor and wall tile, etc.

Duties and responsibilities
Ensure that invoices are signed by Café Managers/Shift Lead and/or request confirmation thru e-mail for invoices which are not signed or for invoices which are not received from cafes
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies with the statement of accounts received from vendors
Request and process W-9 forms from new vendors
Process invoices for sales, services rendered and reimbursement and enter the financial transactions in Quickbooks and ensure proper account coding
Prepare and mail checks to the vendors
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Match receipts to all credit card statements
Maintain and file financial records
Assist with other projects as needed
Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Hands on experience with Quickbooks and Excel
Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
Whether delivering matcha, Alfred water, or cup sleeves for our lattes, the Driver is responsible for delivering supplies from Alfred Headquarters to all Los Angeles cafes. A clean driving record is a must to ensure our products arrive safely. If you love the open road and have an eye for detail, you will be the perfect fit. Diligent pickups and deliveries need to be double checked before cruising to and from headquarters. As needed, you will deliver supplies to the cafes, pick up supplies, and run office errands delegated by the Office Manager.
Assist with the receiving and unloading of pallets, and transferring supplies to headquarters in an organized fashion.
Maintain and organize all paper supplies and packaged goods to ensure a safe.
Responsible for assisting the Office Manager with the cleanliness and maintenance of headquarters.
Complete product deliveries to the cafes as needed.
Abide by all company policies and safety regulations, as well as motor vehicle traffic regulations (rules of the road). No cell phones on duty, especially when driving.
Assist Office Manager in inventory management. Every item matters!
Perform other duties as assigned: packing, moving and setting up of furniture, equipment, etc.

Flexible and can adjust your schedule at a given moment to accommodate the “on-call” nature of this position.
High school diploma (preferred).
A valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
A passion for the Alfred brand.
A reliable vehicle and valid car insurance.
Ability to stand, sit, bend and to lift up to 50 lbs.
Reports to: Lead Graphic Designer and Director of Brand
You are skilled at predicting trends, are obsessed with tiny details, and create materials with an innovative approach. Each day you are prepared to contribute fun, new ideas to our Creative/Marketing Team at Alfred (and Calidad as needed). You will assist in executing and coordinating multiple design projects as delegated by the Lead Graphic Designer and Director of Brand. This includes communicating with vendors and preparing materials for print or digital purposes. This role requires you to work closely with all members of the Alfred team to successfully complete all design-related projects.
